Loving

This morning, our wonderful Worship Council led their first whole school Worship of the year. As part of our Together Again focus, they had chosen a Thank You Vicar theme to thank Rev Craig for everything he does and has done for our school and village communities over the last ten years. They did a fantastic job and this was a really special way for us all to say a big thank you to Craig. He is not leaving us just yet so there is plenty of time to make even more special memories. A very big well done to the Worship Council!

What a beautiful afternoon learning all about the Hindu festival of Diwali, the festival of light! We created our own Diva lamps by folding paper and worked together to decorate some gorgeous rangoli patterns that Mrs Merrick had outlined on the playground! #beech #learning #Loving ... Learning
What an exciting week we have had. We visited Lancaster Maritime Museum. Oak Class asked thoughtful questions and provided insightful answers.
We have reached the end of a very long half term. You have worked very hard, we are so proud of you all.
Hope you have a great holiday.
Come back rested and refreshed.

Sycamore have had a very busy final week of learning before half term. We have had our final Forest School session with Lisa and Jenna, where we had a den building competition, we enjoyed creating our final abstract art pieces about our theme of space and enjoyed a visit from Craig to talk to us about why the Bible is so important to him. #sycamore #learning ...
